Sodi DELTA: An Overview

Sodikart is basically a France-based company that started its journey in 1981. Since then, they have been making premium karts for racing and rental purposes as well. One of their most popular karts is the DELTA model.

Engine:

The Sodi DELTA comes to us with three available engines. You can customize your kart according to your wish. The first option that riders have is the Rotax 125 MICRO MAX engine. This is a two-stroke, single-cylinder engine.

This engine provides a displacement of 124.8 cm3. It also has an integrated thermostat, digital battery ignition, and an integrated electric starter for smooth operation.

Also, a liquid cooling system and integrated water pump have been included to balance the exhaust heat. It provides 6.8 HP at 6.500 rpm and a maximum torque of 8 Nm at 5.500 rpm.

The second option that might be paired with the vehicle is Rotax 125 MINI MAX. This engine is also a two-stroke single-cylinder engine. All other details are almost the same as its MICRO MAX version. But this one provides a maximum torque of 10 Nm at 7.500 rpm and 11 HP at 8.500 rpm.

The third engine that is available for Sodi DELTA is Honda GX 120. This engine is an air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It provides a displacement of 118 cm3 and a torque of 7.4 Nm at 2500 rpm. This one is a little on the heavier side than the other two because both the Rotax engines weigh somewhere around 12 kg. But the Honda engine is measured at 13.5 kg.

Mychron 5:

This one is common for most Sodikart vehicles. Mychron 5 is an AIM display that is included for the riders. It is basically a high-resolution display where riders can see the speed limit. Not only that, the lap timers and vehicle temperature are also shown on the screen for a better understanding and control. Also, the display comes with integrated wifi and GPS.

Adjustable Pedals:

The Sodi Delta has another credible feature. It is equipped with adjustable pedals. These make the ride smoother. Moreover, the riders can drive comfortably with a suitable posture with the pedals. It is ideal for our young riders of seven to fifteen years.

Steering wheel:

One of the most significant concerns of riders from all over the world is the steering wheel support of the vehicle. If it is not flexible and adjustable, it becomes hectic for the driver to turn and move smoothly. But thankfully, the DELTA mode of Sodikart has got you covered there.

They have included an adjustable steering wheel in their kart. The Tekneex anodized aluminum steering wheel can support the turns and tilt of 10°, 20°, or 30°. So that means any hard turn or medium U-shaped turns can be handled pretty quickly.

The speed and acceleration of go-karts depend on the rider’s preference and also on the engine equipped. The speed of go-karts designed for kids or young riders might be somewhere around nine mph. But the professional ones or the superkarts can sometimes reach a speed of 150 mph. However, the pace might differ, depending upon the track type.
